Our brilliant Megan, who is the franchisee and owner of Jigsaw Performing Arts Barnet, Jigsaw High Barnet and Potters Bar, organised an unforgettable experience. 60 members of our Jigsaw family, staff, teachers, parents and students, visited the West End to experience Matilda the Musical live on stage.
The special occasion was to support one of Jigsaw Barnet’s very own student stars, Mia Rogers, who is currently starring as Matilda in this incredible production.
Mia attended Jigsaw Performing Arts Weekend Classes at Jigsaw Barnet on Saturday Afternoons. Now Mia Rogers takes to the stage as Matilda!
Megan shared that one of the most touching moments of the day was witnessing the reactions of the students. Especially Mia’s Jigsaw friends from Jigsaw Barnet. They have been alongside her every step of the way. Watching their faces light up as they saw Mia perform was truly magical. Many were moved to tears, overwhelmed with pride and awe.
This experience was more than just a theatre outing. It was a celebration of friendship, dedication, and the power of performing arts to inspire. We are forever proud of Mia and all our students who continue to shine both on and off the stage.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on this special day. Here’s to many more magical moments with Jigsaw Performing Arts!
On Sunday 6th July 2025, our Jigsaw Performing Arts Barnet students took to the stage at the East Barnet Festival. It was a day of creativity, community and fun! Despite our British Summer Weather Forecast taking a turn… Nothing, not even a bit of rain, could stop our kids from shining!
It was such a joy to see our young performers share their incredible dance routines and songs with the community. This year, Jigsaw Barnet proudly invited our fellow Jigsaw schools from Potters Bar, Finchley, and Hendon to join the celebration. The East Barnet Festival creates a wonderful opportunity for students from all four Jigsaw schools to perform to an audience.
The highlight of the afternoon was a heartwarming grand finale, where we brought all the Jigsaw schaools together on stage. Watching our students collaborate, support one another, and perform as one big Jigsaw family was truly special.
A huge thank you to all the parents and families who came out to cheer on our talented performers! Moments like these remind us of the joy and confidence that performing arts bring to our children’s lives.
We’re so proud of every single student who took part and can’t wait to share more exciting performances with you soon!
Thank you for being part of the Jigsaw journey.
We look forward to the next East Barnet Festival, and are excited to take to the stage again.

We’re bursting with excitement to celebrate two of our amazing Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools students. One from Jigsaw Potters Bar and one from Jigsaw Barnet. They were recently invited to take part in a brand-new LEGO advert!
This exciting opportunity brought together children from across the UK to celebrate the joy of imagination and creativity through the magic of play. The students were encouraged to explore, invent, and have fun, all while showcasing the unique energy and personality they bring to every Jigsaw class.
Our students jumped right into the production day with confidence, brilliant energy, and enthusiasm. Colour, laughter, and, of course, bricks galore filled the set! From building wild creations to roleplaying imaginative scenarios, the experience truly captured what LEGO is all about: curiosity, creativity, and fun.
What made this even more special was seeing just how much joy the students radiated throughout the shoot. Their natural playfulness and performance skills shone brightly. We couldn’t be more proud. The final photos and clips are a beautiful testament to them.
It’s always exciting to see our students take what they’ve learned at Jigsaw into new, real-world experiences. And this was one to remember. A huge well done to our young stars!

Recently, Chloe was selected out of many students at her primary school to take part in the Streetz Ahead Giants project, a dynamic school-led initiative where professional dance facilitators use movement and choreography as a creative outlet for self-expression. This exciting opportunity gave Chloe the chance to perform in a high-energy piece that celebrated individuality, storytelling, and teamwork through dance.
Watching Chloe take the stage was a proud moment for all of us at Jigsaw. Her confidence lit up the room. With powerful facial expressions, natural stage presence, and a clear love for performing, Chloe truly stood out.
What makes this even more special is Chloe’s journey. When she first joined Jigsaw, she was a quiet, reserved young girl who was just beginning to find her voice. Through consistent encouragement, teamwork, and a nurturing environment, she has blossomed into a confident and expressive performer. Her progress is a testament to how the performing arts can build not just skills, but also self-belief.
We are so proud of Chloe’s development and can’t wait to see what she achieves next. Her story is an inspiration to all our students, reminding us that with passion, practice, and a supportive community, anything is possible.
Keep shining, Chloe, you’re a true star in the making!
