It’s hard to believe that Jigsaw Arts High Barnet only opened its doors in September, and now they’re already preparing for their very first show!
Inspired by the much-loved musical Annie, our students have been busy learning songs, tackling choreography and building their characters week by week. For many of them, this will be their first time performing in a full show, which makes it even more special.
What’s been so lovely to see is not just the progress in rehearsals, but the atmosphere they’ve created together. There’s been so much kindness in the room, students encouraging each other, helping with lines, celebrating small wins and genuinely enjoying being part of the group. It’s that wholesome, supportive energy that makes a first production feel really memorable.
Starting a new branch always comes with a bit of excitement (and a few nerves!), but this group has thrown themselves into it with such positivity. In just two terms, they’ve built friendships, grown in confidence and created something they can be proud of.
We can’t wait to see them take to the stage for the first time. It’s the beginning of something really special for Jigsaw Arts High Barnet!
