A new year is the perfect time for children to try something new, build confidence, and express themselves creatively. At Jigsaw Ilford, our performing arts classes offer children the opportunity to explore dance, drama, and singing in a fun, supportive environment.
Our children’s performing arts classes in Ilford are designed to help students of all ages develop confidence, social skills, creativity, and self-esteem. Through a combination of drama games, dance routines, vocal work, and performance techniques, children grow not only as performers but also as individuals.
Last term, our students impressed their families during their end of term performances, confidently taking to the stage and showcasing everything they had learned in dance, drama, and singing. These performances are a wonderful celebration of each child’s progress and dedication.
This spring term, students will be working towards a presentation for family and friends. Presentations give parents a real insight into what happens during our performing arts classes, featuring short pieces of drama, dance choreography, and group singing, alongside warm-ups and performance techniques taught in class. Our experienced teachers are currently preparing exciting resources, including engaging scripts, fun songs, and upbeat music, ensuring every child feels involved and supported.
Booking is now open for the Spring Term 2026 at Jigsaw Ilford.
With limited availability across our Ilford dance, drama, and singing classes, now is the ideal time to renew your child’s place or book a two-week trial. Our January term is always extremely popular, with many children discovering a love for performing arts for the very first time.
If you’d like to learn more about the people leading our classes, read about Yazmin here, a former Jigsaw student who is now a teacher and recently appeared in panto this Christmas, an inspiring example of where dance, drama, and singing can lead.
Make 2026 a positive start by helping your child build confidence, creativity, and performance skills through dance, drama, and singing at Jigsaw Ilford.
