Spring Term classes for January 2026 are live on the Jigsaw website! Are you looking for a creative outlet for your child in 2026? Or an environment that will help them grow in confidence and learn new social skills… Look no further!

Jigsaw weekend performing arts classes for children aged 3-18 offer the perfect start to the performing arts. With a combination of friendly, fun teachers and students that attend our classes searching for the same thing, you can find a place to belong!

A place to belong is our ethos at Jigsaw Arts, and every school owner is dedicated to creating belonging for every child that attends. For us at Jigsaw, one of the missions we dive into before hiring or onboarding new teachers or school owners is sharing the importance of truly understanding the Jigsaw Ethos.

Creating a safe, encouraging place to belong for children of all abilities is very important to us, and what makes our classes so special.

Dance, Singing and Drama Classes

Children across our Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools take part in fun and interactive Dance, Singing and Drama Classes each weekend. Every class is designed to ignite imaginations, boost confidence and help friendships form. Our teachers tailor the classes to suit each child’s needs and are expert at recognising and bringing out every child’s unique talents.

Dance classes are a fantastic way to improve physical and mental wellbeing. Dancing is also great for testing memory skills, mobility and flexibility too!

Singing encourages a sense of community, and helps bring us together! Singing classes can introduce new vocabulary to children, as well as improving rhythm, tone and diction!

Drama classes dramatically (excuse the pun!) shift a child’s confidence as they take on the challenge of playing a new character. This can also help with critical thinking skills, understanding empathy and public speaking in front of an audience. Which can be very helpful in life across many areas!

In fact, every lesson at Jigsaw can help shape the minds of our growing and developing children. The transferable skills that are taught through the mediums of dance, singing and drama are second to none. And what’s more, the children explore these new skills through engaging and interactive activities so it doesn’t feel like a typical lesson in the classroom!

How does the Spring Term work?

Each term at Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools runs for 11 weeks. Alongside the school calendar of Spring, Autumn, Summer!

Students take part in learning new material in singing, dance and drama. Each week, they rehearse the material and improve their skills. With the addition of warm up exercises, focused skill learning time and games too. At the end of the term, friends and family are invited to an end of term performance.

At Jigsaw, we don’t believe in pushing for ‘big shows’ each term or putting any pressure on our students to perform. We recognise that children attend Jigsaw for all sorts of reasons, and we are proud to support every individual on their journey into the performing arts. Whatever that may be!

Our three different terms bring something new and exciting to our students each year.

Presentation Term – open class demonstration in the style of a presentation!

Technique Term – learning new techniques in each subject each week!

Show Term – performance time in a down to earth and friendly environment!

Two-week trial at Jigsaw Arts!

New students are offered a two-week trial at the start of each term. The two-week trial counts as a deposit and reserves your place for the rest of the term. Once the two-week trial has been completed, you have the option to cancel or book in for the rest of the term all in one or in monthly instalments. If you wish to stay with us, the fee for the trial is deducted from the total amount of the term!

We understand that sometimes it can take more than an initial meeting to discover if an environment works. Jigsaw offer a two-week trial so that children can have two full classes to decide if Jigsaw is their place to belong.

Drop Off Classes!

Starting from age 3, all Jigsaw classes are drop off classes. For many families, it is their child’s very first time attending a drop off class. Fear not! Our friendly and experienced teaching team are expert at settling in new starters.

We often see children that were once holding onto their parent’s legs confidently walking into the classroom. This can take a day, a few weeks or even a term! That proud feeling of accomplishment when they stroll into the classroom with ease is unbeatable. Giving parents some well deserved ‘you time’ while your children are safe and happy, taking part in high quality children’s classes!
